Hi, welcome to NoodleCrave, where I keep all my simple, yet delicious noodle recipes.
I love noodles, all kinds of noodles - instant noodles, Vietnamese pho, pasta, vermicelli... and cooked in any ways - in a hot soup, as a cold salad, fried, stir fried... Noodle is a comfort food for me. My love for noodles dated back to my childhood. My mom is very good at making noodles and Chinese dumplings. Noodles were typical food for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in our family while growing up. She seems to know endless ways to cook noodles. I "blame" her for spoiling my appetite for noodles :-).
But I don’t consider and claim myself a great cook like my mom 🙂 In fact, complicated cooking procedures tend to throw me off while cooking. Now living far from my parents, enjoying my mom’s cooking becomes luxury which only happens when I go to visit them. To satisfy my crave for noodles and also be able to make fast and delicious meals for my family, esp. in busy weeknights, I started to search for easy and simple recipes to try out.
The "problem" is:
I like to change noodle recipes with my own touch and tweaks and surprisingly some of them turned out very tasty 😊. However, if I don’t jot down the ingredients and cooking steps, I won’t be able to get the same result next time I make it. Therefore, I've decided to create a repository that keeps all the noodle recipes I’ve tried and turned out great so that I can refer back to them again and again. This is the motivation behind the birth of this blog.
My goal is to maintain this blog with noodle recipes that use the ingredients that are easy to find and have simple and easy cooking steps to follow.
Hopefully these recipes can benefit you who are in a similar situation - busy working parents looking to make a simple, fast yet delicious weeknight dinner for the family or loved ones. Or you are just looking to try something different for dinner tonight. Or if you are also a noodle lover and love noodles so much that you will crave for noodles if haven’t had them for a while :-). then you are at the right place.
All original recipes are from different source of inspiration: some from cooking books, some discovered via beautiful Pinterest pins, some from friends or relatives’ recipes. Then I made them with my own tweaks. However, I try my best to give credit to the original recipes.
If you tried some of the recipes here, I would love to hear your comments (good or bad 😊), your stories, and your own innovations by leaving a comment after the recipe or simply contact me.
Last but not least, if you like some of the recipes you tried, help me spread the words to reach out to more people that you think could benefit from it by sharing it via:
