Easy and Simple Chinese Noodle Soup

Super easy yet delicious soup noodle. Ideal recipe for a busy night dinner! or even breakfast!

  • 1 Small pot

Ingredients

  • 50 g Dry thin noodles
  • 1 tablespoon Lightly salted soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1.5 tablespoon Fined chopped Chinese green onion/scallion
  • 1 teaspoon Chili source optional

Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the noodles according to the package instruction
  • Prepare the soup: take a bowl, add soy sauce and sesame oil, pour the boiling water to the bowl, taste, and adjust with either soy sauce or water to your liking.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, scoop up the noodles from the water or drain the noodles in a drainer.
  • Add noodles to the prepared soup in step 2
  • Sprinkle the finely chopped green onion on top of the noodles
  • Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe is very versatile, you can vary based on your liking: spicy, non-spicy, you can add some vegetable if you happen have some in your pantry; you can poach an egg while boiling the noodle; you can also add sea weeds if you prefer. You can be as creative as your imagination goes
